I am Erica, a nationally certified Japanese teacher based in the beautiful city of Kyoto.
Guided by my two-year completion of the Waldorf (Steiner) teacher training program, I approach language learning not as mechanical memorization, but as a holistic art that nurtures the mind, heart, and spirit.
This philosophy beautifully blends with my background in luxury hospitality, where I spent 10 years delivering first-class service at global brands including Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Chopard.
Having studied English, Chinese, and French myself, I deeply understand the challenges of mastering a new language and maintaining motivation. That is why my lessons go beyond simple grammar.
Enriched by my experience as a Reiki healer and aromatherapist, I create a luxurious, mindful space filled with the spirit of peace and gentle connection, allowing you to relax and find your true voice.

I learned English and Chinese as foreign languages, experienced the difficulties of acquiring a second language, and persevered through them. Despite this, I obtained a national qualification as a registered Japanese language teacher and have also studied my native language, Japanese.
